Two Souls One Heart Chapter 1 Meeting Das
The night was silent except for a few night birds and crickets. The moon was high in the night sky and full as its beams shimmered on the lake in the forested valley. Walking alongside that lake was a beautiful dragoness. She had light blue scales with purple stripes down her legs and back. She had darker blue horns with the tips of her wings being purple. She also had a spear at the end of her tail the same dark blue as her horns. Her name was Sassy. Walking along the lake at night was one of the things she loved to do enjoying the beauty of the moon and stars as they were reflected on the water. This night as she was walking along,

Ugh. What happened? The last thing I remember is a gunshot and darkness. Well, at least I can feel the warm glow of heat of a fireplace near me and a soft, cotton cushion below me so I can continue to slumber on. So, as my eyes became heavier and my brain shutting down, I had these weird senses going haywire telling me “Danger!!! Must escape!” Panicking, I quickly got up to my haunches on what felt like a homemade quilt (but I couldn’t tell in the time that I stood up) and me leaping of the bed and across the floor to the only exit: an old, torn up oak door. Unfortunately, I made an obnoxiously loud thud when I landed

Chapter 21, The Scourge of Uncertainty, Monday, June 29, 1998
It had been over three months since Justin and Margaret were banished from the manor, and life had gotten hard for them since. They subsisted in a small wooded area about a day’s walk from the manor, and ate of the fruit it provided.
As today was Justin’s anniversary of being kicked out of his first abode, he couldn’t help but feel that he had gone nowhere. If it were not for Margaret’s fidelity to him as his friend, he wouldn’t be able to discern any rationale for continuing his life. She was his last hope for any redemption, so he believed.
That n

Chapter 20, A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words..., Thursday, March 19, 1998
Justin woke up today feeling as though he was prepared to embark on a new chapter in his life. It was his last day as a slave, and tomorrow would be his first day as a son. Of course, he intended to work as hard as ever, wanting to show Mason he was serious about his upcoming role. He figured that even as a son, he’d still have responsibilities and chores. Mason would be his father, and he’d have to obey what he told him to do. The only difference is that he would have the security of being his heir, and having a life where he would never lack again, and

Chapter 19, A Family Controversy, Sunday, March 24, 1996
Five months had passed since Justin’s twelfth birthday, and though back into the daily grind of laboring in the manor, he remembered that day whenever possible; knowing that his prosperous future was drawing nearer and nearer everyday. He had just over two years to go before obtaining Mason’s promise, and he figured that if he was able to work as a slave for one year and survive; two more shouldn’t be a big problem. Especially now as he was close to becoming a teen, and growing stronger, the work should get easier for him to perform.
He remained close with Margaret,

Chapter 18, Tuesday, October 24, 1995 - A Present for Justin, and for Mason
Justin would normally be ecstatic about his birthday, as he was still a youth, and retained the palpable childlike excitement accompanied with receiving presents. However, this was his second birthday in a row where any modicum of excitement seemed distant and elusive. Last year, he was booted off William's farm after being deceived by Adrian, and this year...who knows what could happen?
Justin slowly sat up as was his custom, and rubbed his eyes in the still dim sunlight.
"Yay, I'm twelve now," he thought sarcastically, "I wonder what misfortune will get me today?

When is the end?
(Zyairo pov) this world is one of survival; ether you fight or you don’t because you’re dead. You don’t have a unlimited amount of lives you have one, and you can’t tell if its short or long; going to be good or bad. My rule is make now count because now will soon pass into the dark, left as a memory; just like your life will one day be nothing more then a fucking MEMORY. This world is cruel; you can bust your ass trying to be more then a …memory; just to realize you wasted you life away. My birth was an interesting one; I knew as soon as I got out of my egg it̵
