The Story of Leif the DistractedAn Icelandic once told me: "Vilt þú áhuga á að heyra eitt af frægustu sögum á Íslandi? Það er sagan af Leifi annars hugar." (hooray for cheap google translate translations)
Oh, wait, you probably don't speak that language, let me translate it: "Would you like to hear one of the most famous stories in Iceland? It's the story of Leif the Distracted."
Let me tell the rest of the story in English for those who don't speak Icelandic.
Leif was a distracted man, while everyone else was doing what they could to survive in the cold weather of the North, he was living a happy life in which he wrote children's tales while living in his comfourtable home beside the fjord in the village of Bolungarvík. There was nothing that could disturb this peace outside from the cold, which still kept unwanted tropical animals away.
Never would he have guessed that he would become the hero of one of his stories...

The Story of how I Became a Dragon: Part IPart I: The First Vision
It was a sunny day outside, the sun of March was sending its rays into my room, a room quite simple. It had an elevated bed, a table, 2 closets, 2 small libraries, one under my bed and the other one beside it and a desk that was a part of the structure under my elevated bed. On this desk, lied a computer and other various objects, including my 2 twisty puzzles, a 3x3x3 puzzle and a 4x4x4 one.
It was on this desk that I, Tim, was reading dragon transformation stories on DeviantArt (how original!), when an idea appeared in my head; I should probably contribute to this community, even if most stories were written between 2007 and 2010. Who knows, maybe some people are still willing to read new stories of that kind. Writing my first story shouldn't be a challenge, considering the ease I had to bust the limit of words in writing exams. Today will be my last normal day. Ok let me back up. My name is Jason and today is September 17th. Weird stuff has been happening to me today.
It started on the bus while I was listening to music. I got to the loudest part of the song and suddenly, it became much, much louder. Almost like I placed a speaker on max volume next to my ear. Thankfully, I only had one ear bud in but, just imagine what headphones could d. So I took that out quickly and asked myself: Why was that part so loud? I mean I normally keep the volume relatively low.
Slowly, I realized that the music didn't get louder, my hearing improved due to the fact that I could hear every conversation on the ride home. Ignoring it, I pretended it was everything just got louder. So I began the walk home. I hated the fact that I couldn't listen to any of my music.

A red, male dragon with a lava colored underbelly walks into the light that is emitting from the sphere. "How's it going with the transformation?"
"Good" the golden dragon responded. "Although he's trying to ignore it the best he can. But, it should be done by morning."
"Then I'll see you soon so we can tell him what's going on."
The golden dragon nodded and the he left the ring of light and to go into a sleeping quarters presumably.

That was the strangest thing I had ever seen. Skin changing to scales. I needed to talk to someone about this immediately. The only people around me were my mom, dad, and sister Jessica. I didn't want to scare mom or dad so I went to talk to my sister. By now, my entire back is covered in scales and the only reason I've kept it hidden because of my blue T-Shirt that I wore today.
I walked into Jessica's and said "Hey Jessica, can I show you something?"
"Sure"

My brother is transforming in to something. It's just not possible. Humans are unable to transform. And yet Jason is telling me that he has improved hearing and smell plus the fact that that SCALES are freaking growing out from his skin.
Well he just came from the shower long pajamas after taking forever. He may be terribly weak in the body but he is very smart in the mind.
All of a sudden his eyes went wide. "Jessica, I have scales from my ankles to my neck."
"No you don't Jason." I replied.
He took off all of his clothes while I was expecting skin, only his hands, arms, feet, neck and head was skin. The rest were scales. On his front there were azure blue plates (is that what they're called?) from his collarbone to his legs. The rest of the scales were a midnight blue. If he were on all fours, he could be mistaken for a strange reptile.
He began crying and came to me to give me a hug. " I'm turning into a monster."

Let's Try This Again.
I've made the determination that I'm going to see if I can break this damn writer's block and pump out something of interest or value. My stories will likely change going forwards, we will have a strong center on dragons of course but they will likely grow to a larger scale working with the politics and magic and power dynamics present in my worlds, as such old readers may not find something to their liking in my new work or maybe you will? I dunno. Nevertheless, I shall try to produce something and hope that I can be successful. Resurgence of Times Lost and all my other stories are no more, I've new plans in the works. So if all are ready, let us begin. PS: This is a new start and as such, I am trying to clean my slate from before, anyone I watched previously has been purged.

Well... It's been a long... Long time since I have spoken to any of you, I've kinda lost this account to the annals of time...
I figured at some point things would change, and I wouldn't be able to continue, well, that change is now, sadly I don't have the drive for my stories I used to and unless I get that drive, they will cobweb, even new chapters won't be as good as any of my older ones.
So... I'm signing off, I won't delete this account, I will leave it, and I will read the lovely comments you all leave on my page, but I just can't hold in this community.
